• Moxibustion: Dried mugwort leaf burned to support an acupuncture treatment.
• Electro Acupuncture: Safe, gentle electrical point stimulation.
• Cupping: Glass cups create a vacuum to enhance a therapy.
• Gingerbustion: An herbal salve warmed into the tissues for pain relief and healing.

Treatments at the clinic include:

• Acupuncture Treatment: In this treatment we perform a diagnostic evaluation and customize a treatment with points and other modalities to address your concerns.
• 5 Treatment Package: This is a set of 5, 1 hour Acupuncture Treatments, sold as a package. Not only is it a great deal (5 visits for the price of 4), but this package also encourages patients to return for ongoing and customized treatment plans that address a variety of concerns.
• 10 Treatment Daily Series: This is a series of 10, 1/2 hour treatments, scheduled 4 times a week. This is the preferred program modeled after the Chinese tradition. Appointments begin with a one hour treatment and are followed by nine 1/2 hour treatments. Since you will be seen daily no discussion is necessary. You enter the room, lie on the table, needles are placed, and you rest for half an hour. Healing is more complete and faster as each treatment builds on the previous day as opposed to getting a little better for a couple days, then reverting to the previous level of illness before the next treatment day arrives. You wouldn't take an antibiotic only once a week or exercise only once a week, right? A daily regimen for 10 days will bring the best result. A subsequent reevaluation may lead to an additional 10 day regimen or less frequent maintenance appointments.
• Auricular Treatment: This is a specialized 1/2 hour treatment that involves the gentle placement of 5 small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear. The recipients sit quietly relaxing or meditating. The points serve to balance the body's energy and assist in the body's healing processes. This treatment calms, relaxes and centers in support of an internally nourishing and restorative balance. In addition, this treatment performs detoxification and cleansing which has been shown to significantly decrease alcohol and drug cravings and withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia and agitation.
• Acne Series: This is a series of 8, 15 minute treatments specifically targeted at acne. Patients lay face down, with cups on the back. Some clients experience long term relief from the large, deep blemishes after one series. Others return for a second or third series to maintain clear skin. This treatment is most effective when you come 4 times a week for 2 consecutive weeks.
